Building a business so I have the freedom to do random mid week adventures (albeit this was the first time I properly switched off due to no signal 😂 bliss)
Escaping the heat and heading to Europe for the summer 🌎
Having wonderful humans around me who show constant support and love 💜
My body now being strong and curvy so I can lift heavy things and not feel like I’m going to faint every time I stand up 😂
My clients and community for believing in me, trusting me and letting me help them. Truly it’s the best feeling In the world 🥹

No words really, having a family of dolphins swim by you for an hour really topped it off.🐬
If your brain has felt like a pressure cooker, this is your reminder to plan a day away from your usual environment, in nature, off socials and with your closest.
I can’t explain how something so simple has helped so much.☝️
PS dubai fam. This is a day dhow trip to Musandam for 150aed PP. 2hr 30 drive, 6 hours on the boat. Lunch inc and back by the evening. You can also hire them overnight!

Were you told by your doctor that the black dots you can see on your ovaries are cysts?!
WRONG!!
They are actually follicles and is incredibly misleading as the name is completely wrong.
It should actually be called Poly-follicular ovarian syndrome!
Ovarian cysts are not related to PCOS and can actually be painful and dangerous if they grow.
It is also possible for women to have multiple ovarian cysts without suffering from PCOS.
PCOS forms a collection of follicles on the ovaries, which are not harmful or painful. They do however, contribute to the hormonal imbalance often resulting in several problems, such as irregular or no periods, weight gain, extreme period fatigue difficulty falling pregnant, excessive body hair, thinning of head hair and acne or oily skin.
In order for a woman to be diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome PCOS, she needs to have at least two of the following three features:
Irregular or lack of periods
High levels of male hormones (testosterone - blood test)
Polycystic ovaries, i.e. where ovaries are enlarged and contain several fluid-filled sacs - FOLLICLES!
So many women are left confused or misdiagnosed as many GPs do not know the difference. Please, always get a second opinion and know that if you are having pain - this could mean something more serious.
PCOS is a syndrome and is not painful at all.
The follicles are merely immature eggs that haven’t been released - hence finding when we ovulate is a big PCOS problem!
There are harmless and painless so nothing to worry about!

Starting your day with a positive mindset is crucial, especially for PCOS women, who often experience anxiety and depression 😔
Establishing a morning routine and sticking to it will ensure a smooth day ahead.
Here are a few things to focus on -
⏰ Wake up at the same time every day,
🌤️ Soak in some morning sun for vitamin D,
🧘‍♀️ Meditate,
💧 Drink water,
🏋🏻‍♀️ Move your body, and
🥙 Have a protein-rich breakfast.
🎯 Setting small goals for the day will help you stay motivated and focused.
These simple steps, which take only 1 to 1.5 hours, can significantly improve your overall well-being and reduce PCOS symptoms ⚡️.

Moon face is a term used to describe facial swelli

Moon face is a term used to describe facial swelling or puffiness that can occur as a result of chronic inflammation and other lifestyle factors.
Moon face specifically with PCOS is caused by our hormone imbalances, inflammation, water retention and hypothyroidism. If we also elevate cortisol for long periods of time it can puff the face up too!
If we then have a terrible diet and aren’t sweating a lot - our cheeks take a bit of a beating.
For years I hated my face and used to just blame my dad and the genetics he gave me - however I soon realised its my body telling me something was pretty wrong.
Round faces are beautiful and youthful, but they are not meant to be super swollen, red and puffy looking like they’d explode at any minute!
As soon as I started to re-balance my hormones, tweak my diet to focus more on anti-inflammatories and reduce stress levels my face immediately started to change.
The one thing I personally noticed almost overnight, plus hundreds of clients have also seen the same effect was going gluten free.
There are so many benefits for doing this for our hormones, but seeing the change physically in my face was bizarre yet amazing (honestly I didn’t believe it myself too when someone suggested I try it!)
I am not saying gluten is the only answer to all your problems, but I am saying it CAN contribute to improving symptoms and making your face look a little less like a balloon.
Here are a few other tips that may help:
Drink plenty of water
Avoid salty, processed foods and seed oils: Eating too much salt can cause your body to retain water
Exercise regularly and SWEAT: Regular exercise can help improve circulation and reduce fluid retention
Also get yourself in a bloody sauna - for the 100 other benefits this also gives your bod.
Purchase a face roller for the freezer (especially after those big nights)
Invest in some de-puff eye cream and masks
Get your long sleeps in and try not to sleep on your face haha
Try a coffee scrub mask (Coffee has anti-inflammatory properties which helps!)
